せめて + phrase

Example sentences:

100点がとれなくても、せめて90点はとりたい。
Even if I can’t get 100 points, I want to at least get 90 points.
hyakuten ga torenakute mo, semete kyuujuu ten wa toritai.

 

わたしに話しかけてほしかったのに。せめてわたしを見てくれるだけでも。
I wish he’d talked to me, or at least looked at me.
