Formation:

Verb-てform + も差し支えない
Noun + でも差し支えない
いadj(-い) + くても差し支えない
なadj + でも差し支えない

Example sentences:

わたしにおっしゃるほどのことでしたら、どんなことでもこの男に聞かせてさしつかえございません。
You may say before this gentleman anything which you may say to me.
watashi ni ossharu hodo no koto deshitara, donna koto demo kono otoko ni kikasete sashitsukae gozaimasen.

 

少し待っても差し支えない、と彼は思った。
He saw no inconvenience in waiting a while longer.
sukoshi mattemo sashitsukaenai, to kare wa omotta.

 

手術後の経過が順調だったら、来週は散歩に出てもさしつかえない。
If things turn out well after the surgery, you can go for a walk next week.
shujutsugo no keika ga junchou dattara, raishuu wa sanpo ni detemo sashitsukaenai.

I know this messenger. He may come close; there’s nothing wrong.
watashi wa kono tsukai no mono o shitte imasu yo. ano otoko wa chikaku ni kite mo sashitsukaenai no desu. nani mo machigai wa arimasen.
