Meaning: what is… again?

We use particle っけ to indicate that the speaker is trying to recall some information.

Formation:

Verb-casual, past + っけ
Noun + だっけ/だったっけ
いadj + かったっけ
なadj + だっけ/だったっけ

Example sentences:

彼が何て言ったっけ?
kare ga nante itta ke.
What did he say again?

明日のパーティーのこと、話したっけ?
ashita no paatii no koto, hanashitakke?
Did I tell you about the party tomorrow?

自己紹介したっけ?
jikoshoukai shitakke.
Did I introduce myself?

国へ帰るのは、来週だったっけ?
kuni e kaeru nowa, raishuu dattakke?
You’re returning to your country next week, right?

あなたの誕生日、いつだっけ?
anata no tanjoubi, itsu dakke.
When was your birthday again?

誰が僕たちに会いにくるって言ったっけ?
dare ga bokutachi ni ai ni kuru tte ittakke.
Who did you say would come to meet us?

今日は何曜日でしたっけ?
kyou wa nanyoubi deshitakke.
What was the date today again?

夢を見た日はいつだって言ったっけ?
yume o mita hi wa itsu datte ittakke.
When did you say you saw that dream again?

あれ、わたし、さっき眼鏡をどこに置いたっけ?
