Formation:

Verb-casual + にしろ/にせよ
Noun + にしろ/にせよ
いadj + にしろ/にせよ
なadj + (である)にしろ/にせよ

Example sentences:

若いにせよ、毎日残業したら病気になるよ。
wakai ni seyo, mainichi zangyou shitara byouki ni naru yo.
Even if you’re still young, you’ll become ill if you keep working overtime every day.

たった三日の旅行にせよ、準備は必要だ。
tatta mikka no ryokou ni seyo, junbi wa hitsuyou da.
Even though it’s only a three-day trip, we still need to prepare.

熱が下がったにせよ、しばらく安静が必要です。
netsu ga sagatta ni seyo, shibaraku ansei ga hitsuyou desu.
Even though your temperature has come down, you still need to rest quietly in bed.

上司に命令されてやっとことであるにしろ、責任はきみにもある。
joushi ni meirei sarete yatta koto de aru ni shiro, sekinin wa kimi ni mo aru.
Even though you only did what your boss ordered you to, you also will be held responsible.

欠席するにせよ連絡してください。
kesseki suru ni seyo renraku shite kudasai.
Even if you’re not coming, please contact us.

誰がやっているにせよ、取っ捕まえたいものだ。
dare ga yatte iru ni seyo, tottsukamaetai mono da.
I only hope we can catch whoever’s doing it.

入試の結果が悪いにせよ通知だけはください。
nyuushi no kekka ga warui ni seyo tsuuchi dake wa kudasai.
Even if the entrance exam’s results are bad, please just give me the notification.

いくら忙しいにせよ食事をしないのはよくない。
ikura isogashii ni seyo shokuji o shinai nowa yokunai.
No matter how busy you are, it’s not good to skip meals.
